Product Name: Wool Handmade Floor Sofa Pouf with Amazigh Design and Majlis Seating Covers
Materials: Wool textile
Color Palette: Cream and ivory tones with contrasting black and red geometric lines and zigzag accents
Style: Amazigh, handwoven, geometric, low majlis seating
What It Is
This handmade wool Pouf is a low floor-sofa seating system supplied unstuffed as covers and pillowcases only. Once filled, its long rectangular floor cushion and coordinating back cushions create a relaxed majlis-style arrangement that can be positioned against a wall, placed in a cozy corner, or combined with other sections.
Handwoven Wool Construction
The Pouf is made to order and handwoven using traditional techniques. Its wool textile has a visibly textured surface, giving the seating a tactile appearance while the geometric pattern introduces a strong graphic element. The construction is designed for durability, everyday comfort, and the practical flexibility associated with movable floor seating.
Amazigh Geometric Design
The visible design uses a light cream-to-ivory field crossed by black and red linear motifs. Zigzags, angled strokes, stepped forms, and irregular geometric lines appear across the long seat and coordinating pillowcases, creating movement without covering the entire wool surface with dense decoration.
The Pouf has an elongated horizontal silhouette with a broad 70 cm / 28 inch width and a stated height of 20 cm. When displayed filled, the floor cushion appears substantial and softly structured, while the back cushions form a separate supportive layer rather than being attached to a rigid furniture frame.
Flexible Majlis Seating
The Pouf can be arranged in several ways after filling. Multiple sections may be placed in a straight line, configured into an L-shape, or separated and used in different rooms and corners. This modular approach is useful for homes where seating arrangements change according to available space or occasion.
Available Sizes
Optional Floor Stools
Two matching floor stools measuring 16 x 16 x 12 inches / 40 x 40 x 30 cm are available as an optional addition. The standard listing remains the unstuffed floor cushion covers and size-specific pillowcases; the stools are optional rather than standard included components.
Why You’ll Love It
• Wool construction gives the Pouf a rich, visibly textured textile surface.
• Amazigh geometric lines provide distinctive cultural character without overwhelming the light background.
• Six length choices make the format adaptable to both compact corners and wider seating areas.
• The unstuffed construction makes the covers practical to move before filling.
• Separate sections can be rearranged instead of being locked into one permanent furniture configuration.
Design & Cultural Character
The Amazigh identity is expressed through geometric rhythm and contrasting line work. No individual meaning is stated for the visible motifs, so the design is presented through its documented Amazigh character rather than assigning unsupported symbolism to particular shapes.
The restrained cream, black, and red appearance gives the Pouf enough visual definition to function as a focal point while remaining compatible with modern and minimalist rooms. The irregular line placement also preserves the expressive quality of the handwoven surface.
Care Instructions
• Remove filling before cleaning the Pouf covers.
• Handle the handwoven wool textile gently and avoid aggressive scrubbing.
• Avoid harsh cleaning chemicals that could affect the wool or contrasting pattern.
• Allow covers and pillowcases to dry completely before inserting filling again.
A Handwoven Amazigh Pouf for Relaxed Living
This wool Pouf combines a low majlis format with handwoven texture, geometric Amazigh design, multiple length options, and flexible placement. Its cover-only construction allows the seating to be prepared and arranged according to the room while preserving the warmth and visual rhythm of the textile.
